The Porter Pavilion

The Porter Pavilion is an intimate, private room reserved for major donors to the Valley Performing Arts Center. Located on the Balcony level of the Center, the Porter Pavilion includes the contemporary, glass-enclosed Pavilion and the welcoming Porter Pavilion Rooftop Terrace that overlooks the Cal State Northridge campus and sweeping valley and mountain vistas beyond.
Membership
Membership in the Porter Pavilion is available to annual donors who support the Valley Performing Arts Center with a minimum annual gift of $1,500*. In order to activate membership, a $300** annual membership fee is required.
Capital campaign donors at the $25,000 level and above receive complimentary membership through June 30, 2012.
Members will receive a membership card, which should be presented for admission to the Porter Pavilion. If a member chooses to lend his/her card to a guest, it is the responsibility of the member to keep track of the card. Lost cards can be replaced for a fee of $10.00.
*All donations to the Valley Performing Arts Center are tax-deductible.
**The $300 membership fee is a fee for service and is not tax-deductible.
Hours of Operation
The Porter Pavilion is open one hour prior to the performance and during intermissions. The Pavilion will also remain open for one hour after select performances.
Reservations
The Porter Pavilion has limited capacity, so we strongly recommend reservations at least 24 hours prior to each performance. We will do everything possible to accommodate Porter Pavilion members, but space is limited. All reservations will include access to the Porter Pavilion Rooftop Terrace.
