Flamenco Vivo! embodies all the passion, grace and fire that we have come to expect from this exciting art form, but under Paco Peña’s direction the audience becomes aware of the nuances, the range of rhythms, and the compelling nature of flamenco. Peña explores the trance-inducing tribal roots of flamenco, from the alboreá to the razor-sharp complexity of the bulería—all while keeping the audience captivated with dramatic compositions, fantastic guitar work, and fiery dancers.
