This evening the Moscow Festival Ballet dances Giselle, the jewel of all Romantic Russian ballets. Since its inception in 1989, the company has completed two tours of Europe and continues to specialize in 20th century full-length classical dance such as Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, and Legend of Love. Artistic director and legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, Sergei Radchenko presents an impressive recreation of Jules Perrot and Jean Coralli's masterpiece, which exemplifies the highest classic elements of grace, precision, and expression through movement witnessed in the perfection of the Moscow Festival Ballet.
"The dancers of the Moscow Festival Ballet spoke to the soul through the body, performing a magnificent 'Giselle.'" —The Post and Courier
