Blanchard layers funky grooves and R&B to send a powerful political message. Committed to healing through music, the jazz composer-trumpeter created A Tale of God’s Will about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Then Blanchard and The E-Collective created Breathless, an album tragically inspired by the last words of Eric Garner, the Staten Island man suffocated in an altercation with police.

Onstage Sessions: Jazz
This season we’re introducing a new experience by transforming our stage into a New York-style jazz club and putting you right in the middle of the action. Enjoy a drink at a prime table, or wander through the crowd to mingle with friends as you enjoy jazz’s most fearless artists in an intimate experience, combining close proximity with high octane performances.
